IS THERE A DEPOSIT? WHEN ARE THE ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS DUE? 

Yes.

1st payment (deposit): due day contract is signed

2nd payment: 9 months prior 50% of remaining fee due

3rd payment: 3 months prior to event remaining 50% due

*We also require a $500 refundable damage deposit 2 weeks prior to event

DO I NEED TO SCHEDULE A TOUR OR CAN I JUST STOP BY? 

Tours are by appointment only. You can request a tour here.

IS THERE A FOOD/BEVERAGE OR GUEST COUNT MINIMUM? 

Determined by the caterer or vendors you choose.

DO WE HAVE TO USE VENDORS FROM A PREFERRED LIST? 

No. We have an open vendor policy. However, please consult us before hiring your caterer.

DO YOU HAVE A VENDOR LIST? 

We do have a list of our favorite vendors to help you get started in the wedding planning process.

WILL THERE BE ANOTHER WEDDING THE SAME DAY? 

In order to maximize and personalize each event, we limit weddings and events to 1 per day.

ARE THERE OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS NEARBY? 

Within 30 minutes of OMEC there are several hotels, airbnb’s, and a lovely bed and breakfast.

HOW MANY CARS WILL YOUR PARKING LOT ACCOMMODATE?

Approximately 100. Our parking lot is well lit and very close to the venue.

DO YOU OFFER STRAIGHT TABLES INSTEAD OF ROUND?

 We have a limited number of straight tables that can be used. The majority of your guest will be seated at round tables. We also have 4 highboys and a variety of vintage tables that can be used for gifts, sign-in, etc.

DO YOU PROVIDE TABLE LINENS?

 We provide white linens for all guest tables.

WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DOES OAK MEADOW ACCEPT? 

Our preferred form of payment is a check. Make checks payable to “Oak Meadow Event Center”.

DOES YOUR RENTAL FEE INCLUDE A “WEDDING DAY COORDINATOR”?

No. However, we do provide an OMEC facility director the entire rental period. This person is onsite to make sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly, but they do not replace a day of wedding coordinator.

CAN VEHICLES BE LEFT OVERNIGHT

No vehicles can not be left overnight. Please advise your guests of this policy.

WHAT TIME DOES THE MUSIC NEED TO END? 

Friday & Saturday: 9:30 p.m. (must be off the premises by 10:00 p.m.)

Sunday: 9:00 p.m. (must be off the premises by 9:30 p.m.)
