can i do a formal plated meal at my reception?

Yes. The maximum number of guests we can seat at round tables is approximately 150, depending on the layout. However, keep in mind we do not flip the room when there is a plated meal meaning your ceremony must be in the courtyard.

what is the average budget of a couple getting married at Oak Meadow?

In general, we believe the average budget of a couple getting married at Oak Meadow is between $20,000-$25,000 (including all major vendors) depending on the package and guest list size.We have had some creative couples with smaller guests lists host lovely weddings in the $15,000-$20,000 range, and we have also had couples host events with significantly larger budgets.

IS THERE A retainer? WHEN ARE THE ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS DUE? 

Yes.

1st payment (non-refundable retainer): due the day contract is signed

2nd payment: 9 months prior 50% of remaining fee due

3rd payment: 3 months prior to event remaining 50% due

*We also require a $500 refundable damage deposit 2 weeks prior to event

DO I NEED TO SCHEDULE A TOUR OR CAN I JUST STOP BY?

how do i reserve a date?

To reserve a date email us at hello@oakmeadowevents.com stating you are ready to book and list your preferred date. Once date is requested and availability is confirmed, you have 5 business days to send the signed contract and non-refundable retainer to Oak Meadow Event Center. Prior to booking a date, we hope you are able to come in person to visit Oak Meadow however it is not required. Schedule a tour here.

DO WE HAVE TO USE VENDORS FROM A PREFERRED LIST? 

No. We have an open vendor policy.

DO YOU HAVE A VENDOR LIST? 

We do give a list of vendors who have worked at Oak Meadow we give to BOOKED couples only to assist in the wedding planning process.

WILL THERE BE ANOTHER WEDDING THE SAME DAY? 

In order to maximize and personalize each event, we limit weddings and events to 1 per day.

ARE THERE OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS NEARBY? 

There are several hotels, airbnb’s, and a lovely bed and breakfast nearby

HOW MANY CARS WILL YOUR PARKING LOT ACCOMMODATE?

Approximately 100. Our parking lot is well lit and convenient to the venue.

DO YOU PROVIDE TABLE LINENS?

 We provide black and white linens for guest tables, and black linens for food tables.

WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DOES OAK MEADOW ACCEPT? 

Our preferred form of payment is a check. After your initial payment (non-refundable retainer) you will have the option to pay the remaining installments via a credit or debit card. Make checks payable to “Oak Meadow Event Center”.

DO you require a “WEDDING DAY COORDINATOR”?

Yes. Everyone must have someone to coordinate and manage the day of their event at a minimum.

do you have a rain plan?

In the event of inclement weather, we will move everything into the Great Room. The rain plan decision must be made 24 hours in advance.

Do you offer a package for receptions only?

You can use your rented time in our packages however you like but there is not a specific package just for receptions.

CAN VEHICLES BE LEFT OVERNIGHT

No vehicles can not be left overnight. Please advise your guests of this policy and plan accordingly.

Do you allow dogs in the venue if they are playing an integral part in the ceremony?

Yes. We are dog friendly with very specific expectations of your furry friend and they must be pre-approved before your event. Animals, with the exception of service animals, are NOT allowed near any food or inside near guest tables. They must be leased at all times and must have a designated person to care for them other than the bride and the groom. If your pet, who’s playing a role in your big day, is not comfortable in large crowds or doesn’t particularly love strangers, we would advise you to leave them at home.

What time will i have access to the venue to decorate?

You will have access to the venue during the rental time agreed upon in your contract. Please plan accordingly.

WHAT TIME DOES THE MUSIC NEED TO END? 

Friday & Saturday: 10 p.m. (must be off the premises by 11:00 p.m.)

Can we leave the Great Room doors open during the reception?

Weather permitting. However, if you want to use HVAC the doors must remain closed.

Can we have alcohol at our wedding?

Yes. We are licensed by the ABC Board to serve alcohol and offer a variety of bar packages for purchase.
